Exhibition – Portraits 2020

A Portrait can show viewers the character of the person. It can be honest and revealing, many times more than the person would like it to be. That is why many people avoid having their portrait taken. Their soul is exposed to everyone. Sometimes what viewers can see is a completely different person, just because the photographer could see through the person’s soul. Their inspiration can be clearly seen in the way this person has been photographed by the artist. A new person can suddenly emerge from the photograph. This is the beauty of these photographs and the reason why reactions towards these photographs are so strong.
