Exhibition – Cityscapes 2020

Cityscape Photography is all about big cities. Tall, impressive buildings dominate the skyline and give everyone the feeling that the people who live and work in them are tiny and insignificant. They are very small compared to their surroundings, that is why their lives, feelings and emotions are so unnoticed there. What captures the viewers’ attention is the shape of the buildings, the noise and the impersonal crowd that walks in the streets purposefully. All these can be quite fascinating as well as depressing, as the focus has been moved from the person to the surroundings.
Cityscapes can be very attractive though, as cities differ one from the other and the general feeling they provoke can be totally different from the one to the other.
