Exhibitions – Black & White 2017

Photography exhibition
Black & White

Exhibition Duration:
6 October – 19 October 2017

Working in black and white can help you become a better photographer, as it has to do with composition. The relationship between the subject and the background becomes more important when there is no colour to distract the eye. Colour is very powerful, and dominates the photo so much that it’s difficult to see other elements such as contrast, texture, shape, form and quality of light. Experienced photographers instinctively see these things that is why some really great photographs taken by famous photographers are in Black & White.
