Exhibition – People & Winter 2019

Winter is a controversial season with much beauty and many difficulties at the same time. Some countries face harsh winters with a lot of snow, cold and dangerous physical phenomena, while others have mild winters with temperatures which are tolerable and everything goes smoothly. In both cases the landscape changes as well as people’s habits. This is what we want to explore. We would like to see how people behave in each case and how they protect themselves, especially in extreme conditions. Life goes on even if conditions are really difficult. This is what is partly depicted here. On the other hand, snow is the perfect setting for games and joy. Children and grown ups, have a great time playing outside and enjoying themselves. These two different sides of winter are presented in this exhibition.
