Exhibition – Monochrome 2019

Monochrome photographs are liked a lot both by photographers and by viewers. The lack of color manages to take us to different places and eras more often than not. Even contemporary photographs, when rendered to monochrome, seem different, more romantic. The lack of color or the prevalence of a hue can add a dreamy touch to the whole concept. Some elements of the photograph become more stressed and eminent, while others are downgraded. This, most of the times creates a different atmosphere, much more interesting than the one of the color photograph. That is why many people prefer this photographic genre.
